Dr. Mirela Fetea wins University's 2007 Distinguished Educator Award
Dr. Mirela Fetea has received the University's Distinguished Educator Award for 2007. She was cited for her passionate teaching and mentoring of research students. She is the third member of the physics department in the last 10 years to receive the University's highest teaching award. Previous recipients are Jerry Gilfoyle and Mike Vineyard, who is now chair of physics at Union College in New York.
