Roadmap to Consulting begins Jan. 28

Interested in Consulting?

Get the information and skills necessary to land a consulting position, learn how to turn an opportunity into an offer and find out the latest industry news at the Career Development Center's "Roadmap to Consulting" workshop series.

Jan. 28: “Understanding the Consulting Industry” presented by Professor Jonathan Whitaker, former consultant at A. T. Kearney and John McCulla, former partner at Accenture.

Feb. 11: “The Life of a Consultant,” presented by a panel of Richmond alumni who are consultants. Students can ask questions, and a reception will follow the presentation. This session will end at 7:45 p.m.

Feb. 25: “Acing the Case Interview and the Behavioral Interview,” presented by David Ong, a Richmond alumnus and current director of recruiting for Maximus Consulting.

March 18: Consulting-focused résumé development session with Career Development Center and an experienced recruiter. Learn about the kinds of experiences consulting firms want, get tips on landing a consulting position and find out about the CDC resources that are available to you.

Sign-up by logging in to SpiderConnect  - search “Events.” Students must also upload completed résumés as part of the registration process. Students must attend each session. Open to sophomores, juniors & seniors. Each session will be held from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. in Jepson, room 120
