Two Central European poets read their work

Slovenian poets Tomaz Salamun and Primoz Cucnik will read from their work on Tuesday, February 19 at 7 p.m. in Weinstein Hall's Brown-Alley Room. The reading is free and open to the public.
Tomaz Salamun is the University of Richmond's Distinguished Visiting Writer for spring 2008. He has published 37 books in Slovenian and 10 books in English, and his work has been translated into over 20 languages. He is widely recognized as one of Europe's most prominent poets.
Primoz Cucnik has published six books of poetry in Slovenian, including a volume of Selected Poems. He is an editor for Literatura magazine, and he operates the Sherpa publishing house.
