American poets Laura Sims and L.S. Klatt read from their work Apr. 16
Laura Sims and L.S. Klatt will read from their work on April 16 at 7 p.m. in Jepson Hall, room 120. This is the last event in the English department's 2008-09 Writers' Series.
Sims, a Richmond native, has published two books of poetry with Fence Books: Practice, Restraint and Stranger. She attended the College of William and Mary and received her MFA from the University of Washington in Seattle. She currently lives in Brooklyn.
Klatt's first book, Interloper, won the Juniper Prize and recently appeared from the University of Massachusetts Press. He currently teaches at Calvin College in Michigan.
