Welcome Spring 2017 MBA Students!

Happy New Year! And a warm welcome to our spring 2017 MBA students. Seventeen new students are joining our program this semester. While most of them come to us from the Commonwealth, we are also welcoming students who’ve studied at Rutgers and Michigan State! We have four students from the Altria Group, as well as two students pursuing joint degrees from the Law School and business school.

Travis Allen, GB‘19: Travis graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in information technology and informatics. He is an IT risk intelligence and reporting manager at Altria Group, Inc.

Eric Behringer, GB’19: Eric graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a B.S. in biology. He is a full-time student at the University of Richmond School of Law and is pursuing a joint degree (J.D./M.B.A.).

Ivy Chichester, GB’19: Ivy graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in government. She is a senior specialist in supply chain logistics at Altria Group, Inc.

Michael Congdon, GB’19: Michael graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.M. in composition. He also earned a B.S. in business from Full Sail University. He is senior producer at Artesian Entertainment Group, LLC.

Christopher Dennis, GB’19: Christopher graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.A. in English. He is a manager of software asset management at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.

Heidi Drauschak, GB’19: Heidi graduated from American University with a B.A. in political science and international business. She is a full-time student at the University of Richmond School of Law and is pursuing a joint degree (J.D./M.B.A.).

Kevin Gill, GB’19: Kevin graduated from Washington and Lee University with a B.S. in public accounting. He is a tax experienced associate at PwC, LLP.

Jeff Holloway, GB’19: Jeff graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in religion and management. He is a process manager at Capital One.

Josh Jeffreys, GB’19: Josh graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Jewish studies. He is a writer and acknowledgement coordinator at the University of Richmond.

Audrey Johnston, GB’19: Audrey graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in biology. She is a master of social work program coordinator at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Jason Macko, GB’19: Jason graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.S. in chemistry and M.A. in organic chemistry. He also earned his Ph.D. in macromolecular science and engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He is a senior research scientist at Altria Client Services, LLC.

Virginia Mathurin, GB’19: Virginia graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in environmental sciences. She is an environmental underwriter at Markel Corporation.

Austin Nardone, GB’19: Austin graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in food science. He is a conformance analyst at Philip Morris USA.

Quincy Shelton, GB’19: Quincy graduated from Christopher Newport University with a B.S. in finance. He also earned a Post Baccalaureate certificate in accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a fixed asset accountant at Dominion Resources, Inc.

Jim Sumner, GB’19: Jim graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in computer science. He is a digital product manager at Capital One.

Bridget Werderman, GB’19: Bridget graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in supply chain management. She is an inventory specialist at Altria Group, Inc.

Brian Yannetti, GB’19: Brian graduated from Virginia Military Institute with a B.S. in electrical and computer engineering. He is an electrical engineer at Wiley|Wilson.
