Alem Areki Assists Jepson School in Sharing Commencement Webpage

Sequestered in the basement of Jepson Hall, the Web Development team members are seldom seen by other UR employees whose offices are more visible. Yet our Web Development team’s efforts ensure that the work of so many of us is visible to internal and external audiences on our UR website. During the last six months, I have called or emailed Alem Areki with a variety of website questions. He responds quickly and often works outside the normal 8:30-5 hours. Most recently, he worked his magic to make the Jepson Finale/Commencement page appear at the top of the Jepson homepage during Commencement weekend. Thank you, Alem, for sharing your knowledge and expertise to assist others in sharing UR’s story on the website.

Francine Reynolds Solves Student Campus Access During Move-Out

I would like to nominate Francine Reynolds, One Card Services. She worked double time with our access provider to figure a way to comply with the access requirements for the students returning to retrieve their items. This took an enormous amount of time and testing to create a solution in a very short amount of time. She went over and beyond to come up with a solution.
