Unfilled teacher positions across the state have increased by 40 percent in the last 10 years, according to Virginia’s Department of Education, with over 1,000 current vacant teaching positions. The School of Professional and Continuing Studies (SPCS) graduate education programs are working hard to fill the void.
This month, Vermont Law School – ranked as one of the top energy law programs in the country – recognized Professor Joel Eisen’s work as a pivotal leader in the field, naming him as its Distinguished Energy Law Scholar for summer 2019.
