School of Arts & Sciences hosts second annual YouTube Research Video Contest; videos due Apr. 10

The School of Arts & Sciences will host its second annual research video contest for students participating in the 2009 Student Research Symposium.

Students who have registered for the Symposium may upload up to a five-minute video about their research to YouTube. A link to the video should be e-mailed to as@richmond.edu by April 10.

Videos should be as creative as possible. Winners will be determined by a panel of judges and the number of YouTube views the video receives. Video content must be clean and represent the student’s independent work. Student should be careful to use copyright-free music.

Awards of $500, $250 and $100 will be given to first, second and third place entries. Questions about the contest should be directed to Rachel Beanland.
