Carnegie Mellon professor gives presentation on the Holocaust Mar. 26

Dr. Stephen Brockmann, professor of German at Carnegie Mellon University, will give a presentation, "Conflicted Past: The Two Germanys and the Holocaust" at 4:30 p.m. on March 26 in Jepson Hall. The presentation will explore Germany's attempts to come to terms with the Holocaust with a focus on how former East and West Germany tended to view the Holocaust through the lens of their own ideological assumptions. The event is sponsored by the Department of Modern Literatures and Cultures and the German Studies Fund and is free and open to the public.
