Musicians to play National Gallery of Art Concert Series

Dr. Joanne Kong, director of accompaniment, and Dr. Paul Hanson, adjunct music professor, have been invited to perform a two-piano concert during the National Gallery’s 2009-2010 concert series in Washington, D.C.  

Currently in its 66th year, the popular series is well respected for showcasing acclaimed American and international musicians, past series have included artists like pianist Paul Badura-Skoda, Awadagin Pratt, James Dick and Piotr Andrszewski.

With their distinguished and diverse backgrounds as solo and chamber keyboardists, the husband and wife duo is acclaimed for their impeccable musicianship, mastery of tone color and exacting ensemble.
