Faculty members in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies earned service awards for 5, 10, 15 and 35 years of service during the School’s annual awards ceremony during the Spring 2013 Faculty Meeting on Friday, January 11, 2013. Faculty members were also recognized for promotions earned during the past year.
Dr. David Kitchen, associate dean and associate professor of continuing studies in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies, has been awarded a grant with Dr. Todd Lookingbill, assistant professor of geography and the environment in the School of Arts and Sciences, to develop and teach a new Sophomore Scholars in Residence program.
Linda Fisher Thornton, adjunct assistant professor of human resource management in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies, has been named to the 2013 Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business Behavior.
