Program chair identifies ethical dilemmas affecting immigration reform in published column
Dr. Patricia B. Strait, chair of the Human Resource Management program in the School of Continuing Studies, identified four ethical dilemmas that underscore U.S. immigration reform debate in a column titled "Immigration Poses Ethical Dilemmas" in the May 23, 2010, edition of the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Associate Dean Kitchen rebuts global warming commentary in published letter
Dr. David E. Kitchen, Associate Dean of the School of Continuing Studies, refutes commentary skeptical of global warming in a letter to the editor of the Richmond Times-Dispatch titled "Global Warming is Not An Optional Choice." The letter appeared in the April 4, 2010, edition.

Paralegal Studies chair Porcher Taylor quoted in AP news article about Tiger Woods
Porcher L. Taylor III, chair of the Paralegal Studies program in the School of Continuing Studies, was quoted in an Associated Press article titled "Tiger Can Learn Plenty of Lessons from Kobe Bryant." Taylor contributed his expertise in business ethics to the question of how Tiger Woods' return to golf will be received by fans and corporate sponsors alike.

Partners in the Arts funds third-graders' 'Mighty Minds Museum'
Third graders at Swift Creek Elementary School in Chesterfield recently presented a living museum of influential people titled “Mighty Minds Museum: Art Brings History to Life.” The program was funded by Partners in the Arts, Richmond's premiere arts-in-education organization.
