Kristine Nolin receives Jeffress research funds

The Thomas F. Jeffress and Kate Miller Jeffress Memorial Trust or Richmond, VA has recently made 2012 research awards to Dr. Kristine Nolin.
Dr. Kristine Nolin, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, was awarded a $10,000 continuation grant to supplement her initial 2009 grant for “Development of New Desymmetrization Reactions: Catalytic Additions to Electron Deficient Cyclopanes.” Funds will be used for summer support for Dr. Nolin and one undergraduate research student.
The University of Richmond supports this project by providing funds for student living expenses and fringe benefits not covered by the grant.
