A new study ranks the Richmond region low among the 100 largest U.S. metropolitan areas for being able to get to jobs by public transit.
The Brookings Institution report ranked Richmond:
94th for its area transit coverage. About half of the jobs in the Richmond metropolitan area — 48.9 percent — are in neighborhoods with public transit service.
