The top executives of central Virginia companies foresee a flat fourth-quarter economy overall, according to a survey by the Virginia Council of CEOs and the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business.
The survey of 84 chief executive officers of small and medium-sized businesses showed that about 61.8 percent of CEOs expect their companies' sales to increase in the next six months. That was down from 66.6 percent in a survey during the second quarter.
