Spring 2013 schedule of degree program classes available online; registration begins November 13

The spring 2013 edition of the degree programs schedule of classes is now available online. Registration begins Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at 9 a.m.

The spring schedule includes a variety of new selected topics (ST) courses in addition to over 100 additional classes

A selection of new ST classes includes the following:

  • ART 398U/598U ST: Artful American Women, taught by Professors Elisabeth Wray and John Alley (and cross-listed as HIST 398U/598U);
  • ECON 398U ST: The LGBTQ Consumer: Buying a Seat at the Table, taught by Professor John Zinn;
  • EDUC 598U ST: Teaching Strategies for Globalization, taught by Professor George Hiller;
  • EM 398U ST: IT Security, Risk and Recovery, taught by Professor Lionel Mew (and cross-listed as ISYS 398U)
  • ENGL 398U/598U ST: The Western: Tradition and Transformation, taught by Professor Mark Gruner; and
  • PSYC 398U ST: Psychology in the Workplace, taught by Professor Deborah Carvelli

The spring term’s Knowledge Management seminars I and II (ADED 301U and ADED 302U) include Art Law, taught by professor Lindsey Stravitz, and Entrepreneurial Capitalism, taught by professor Porcher Taylor. The term’s Understanding Culture and Language I (IDST 304U) focus is Italian with Professor Christine Contrada.

Current students may begin registering for classes on November 13. Students who have been inactive must contact the School prior to registration. All registrants must clear any holds prior to registering.
