CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (MarketWatch) -- Amazon.com Inc. recently emerged as the company with the best reputation among the general public in the U.S., according to a survey of more than 14,000 randomly selected individuals conducted by Harris Interactive.
Amazon (AMZN) investors can only hope its fate will turn out better than Apple Inc.'s (AAPL) , which topped Harris Interactive's survey last year and has seen its stock fall more than 20% since then.
