Mandala Mural Installation in Boatwright Library

The second Mandala mural in now on display in Boatwright Library. This mural, by students of the ARTS 279 Mural Painting class was created as a site specific permanent installation. Mimicking the forms used in the Mandala, the students portioned off concentric circles and created work that uses themes relating to their visual experience while at University of Richmond.  Some students channeled forms found in decorative motives throughout the architecture of the school, others chose a learning experience at the university.
