September 24: CVMSDC's 2015 MBE Executive Management Class (Millennium Magazine)
In September 2015, Carolinas-Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council and the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business partnered to host the annual MBE Executive Management Program, an innovative leadership program designed exclusively for chief executive officers of certified minority businesses. The weeklong Minority Business Enterprises Executive Management Program supports leadership training, business growth and development, client relations, and customer service enhancement for participants. The initiative was jointly founded and sponsored by three major Central Virginia-based corporations: Altria Group, Dominion Resources and MeadWestvaco. Premier sponsors for this year’s 2015 graduating class include Capital One, Delhaize and Denny’s. The training takes place at the business school on the university’s main campus located in Richmond, Virginia.
