Modlin@Boatwright: The Music of Old and New China

Join the Modlin Center for the Arts and Boatwright Library for a lecture-demonstration with renowned Chinese pipa virtuoso Wu Man. The free presentation will take place at 3:00 pm on Monday, February 20 in the first floor of the library. Wu Man will feature a pipa demonstration – a lute-like instrument with a history of more than 2,000 years in China – and discuss her musical background and the link between traditional and contemporary Chinese musical performance.
