The Visible Scholar: Dr. Jane Berry

March 13, 2017
Attend "The Visible Scholar" lunchtime program on Wednesday, March 29, 12 noon - 12:45 pm in Boatwright Library's Collaborative Study Area. Dr. Jane Berry, Professor of Psychology, will speak on "Memory and Aging: Facts, Foibles, and Failures." Adults “of a certain age” have a hard time remembering newly-acquired information and are particularly susceptible to making memory errors known as “false alarms.” Why is this? Dr. Berry will discuss her research on what happens to memory as we age and whether older adults are cognizant of these changes and challenges to memory.
