Rutgers professor Ernest Sosa gives philosophy talk "Knowing Full Well" Oct. 22

Ernest Sosa, Board of Governors Professor of Philosophy at Rutgers University, will address two Platonic problems: What is knowledge and what sort of value does it have?  He is the author of over 200 articles and books, including Knowledge in Perspective (1991), Epistemic Justification (co-authored with Laurence BonJour, 2003), A Virtue Epistemology (2007), and Reflective Knowledge (2009). A book devoted to his work, Ernest Sosa and His Critics, was published in 2004. He was elected president of the American Philosophical Association (Eastern Division, 2004), and to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2001.
