Pre-law students encouraged to attend FSU "Introduction to Law School" summer seminar
Florida State University College of Law offers a competitive summer seminar experience, “Introduction to Law School and the Law Profession” to students who are interested in applying to law school. The program runs from May 19 to June 13, and all attendees are awarded free room and board.
The program is open to all freshman, sophomore and junior undergraduates interested in possibly attending law school. The program offers daily instruction in writing – recognized as the most important skill for aspiring lawyers to develop. It also provides courses on the law school application process and taking the LSAT, workshops on debating and team-building skills, visits to law firms, courts, and judges’ chambers, and prominent guest lecturers addressing the law and legal practice.
Competition for the 60 spots is intense, so students are encouraged to apply early. Download a flyer, and call, write or email for additional information.
