PROGRAM INFORMATION:
Brian Bedford and Claire Bloom, both critically acclaimed for their
Shakespearean performances, portray the progression of life from
infancy through "second childishness and mere oblivion"
in this performance compiled by Bedford. To illustrate the seven
stages, they enact scenes from "Henry VIII," "A Midsummer
Night's Dream," "As You Like It" and "Macbeth,"
among others of Shakespeare's plays.
