University of Richmond Police to hold public hearing, accept comments as part of CALEA accreditation process

University of Richmond Police Department will host a public hearing March 5, 6 p.m., at Jepson Hall 118 as part of its assessment for professional accreditation by the Commission of Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA).

University police employees, neighboring jurisdiction representatives and other interested parties are invited to comment on the department’s ability to meet applicable CALEA standards, which regard policies and procedures, administration, operations and support services.
