October 3, 2012
Comeback America’s $10 Million a Minute bus tour will stop Oct. 8, 3-7 p.m. the University of Richmond. David Walker, Comeback America’s CEO and founder, will speak about economic problems and solutions at 4:30 p.m. in the Alice Haynes Room of Tyler Haynes Commons. The talk is free and open to the public.
The Comeback America Initiative promotes fiscal responsibility and sustainability by engaging the public and assisting policymakers on a non-partisan basis. The tour’s name reflects the initiative’s premise that the U.S. government’s debt grows at $10 million per minute.
Walker, a former U.S. comptroller general, will discuss why presidential and congressional campaigns should focus on educating voters and offering solutions to the country’s economic problems. He is author of the book, “Comeback America.”
