Bloomberg Businessweek has ranked University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business No. 15 overall on its 2012 list of America’s best undergraduate business programs.

Among specific measures, the Robins School ranked No. 3 for academic quality, No. 5 for student satisfaction, and No. 15 for students going on to MBA studies. It is the seventh year running that the school ranked in the top 25.

“We’re delighted that we continue to be recognized as a top business school, confirming what those of us in the Robins School see every day,” said Robins School Dean Nancy N. Bagranoff.

“We have great teachers, terrific students, and a caring staff.  This past year we opened our new building addition, much of which is dedicated to student learning and skill development.  Our students continue to study abroad in large numbers and we are equipping them to compete in a global economy,” Bagranoff said. “We know that we’re providing our students with a great education and are pleased that others know it, too,” she said.

Robert. G. Reynolds, principal of Reynolds Development, chairman of the Robins School’s Executive Advisory Council and one of its MBA alumni, said he is impressed by the caliber of Robins School graduates.

“Not only does the Robins School offer small class sizes and exceptional teaching quality, but it also provides a whole set of experiential opportunities that foster knowledgeable, confident, and motivated students,” Reynolds said. “With a host of opportunities, including international educational experiences and programs like Q-Camp, the Robins School helps students develop broader perspectives and showcase themselves as true leaders. This is often a rare quality in individuals straight out of college, but Robins School graduates possess it from day one.”

The Robins School is the country’s only fully accredited top-tier undergraduate business school that also is part of a top-tier liberal arts university. Bloomberg Businessweek previously recognized the Robins School’s MBA program as one of the top 20 part-time MBA programs in the country. The Robins School executive education division offers open enrollment courses and customized leadership development programs for individuals and businesses.
