Bloomberg Businessweek has ranked University of Richmond's Robins School of Business No. 17 overall on its 2013 list of America’s best undergraduate business programs.

Among specific measures, the Robins School ranked No. 2 for academic quality, No. 4 for student satisfaction, and received an A+ in Teaching Quality & Facilities/Services, as well as an A for Job Placement. It is the eighth year running that the school ranked in the top 25.

“Our students benefit from the personal attention of our staff and faculty, are engaged with their teachers, business and each other, and they are appreciative of the global business environment in which they will be working,” said Robins School Dean Nancy N. Bagranoff. “Our students are especially equipped to link their business knowledge to the liberal arts, making them great critical thinkers, communicators, business strategists, and collaborative problem-solvers,” she said.

Mark S. Cross, senior vice president of MeadWestvaco Corporation and member of the Robins School's Executive Advisory Council, said he is impressed by the breadth of knowledge Robins School graduates possess.

“The breadth of the Robins School students is incredible,” Cross said. “Their ability to have a discussion, engage and contribute on almost any topic is second to none. I have interacted with the students at receptions, speaker forums, business case competitions and classes and always find them fascinating. The strength of the liberal arts curriculum as the foundation for their business education contributes greatly to this breadth.”

The Robins School is the country's only fully accredited top-tier undergraduate business school that also is part of a top-tier liberal arts university. Bloomberg Businessweek previously recognized the Robins MBA program as one of the top 20 part-time MBA programs in the country. The school's executive education division offers open enrollment courses and customized leadership development programs for individuals and businesses.
