Alumni Association Board elects officers, new board members for 2014-15

The University of Richmond Alumni Association Board has elected 2014–15 officers and seven board members for renewed or new terms.

William “Bill” T. Mallon of Silver Spring, Md., will be the association’s 2014–15 president. He received an undergraduate degree from the university in 1991 and a master’s degree from the School of Arts & Sciences in 1996.

Gayle Goodson Butler, a 1973 graduate from Des Moines, Iowa, is the immediate past-president. Serving as vice president for membership will be Camille T. Cade Hammond, who graduated from Richmond in 1997. She is from Reisterstown, Md. Connor C. Marsden of Leesburg, Va., a 1999 graduate, will be vice president for outreach.

Other officers include: Generra Joyce Peck, Richmond, Va., a 2009 graduate, vice president for planning and operations; Molly Ranson Gorman, Richmond, Va., a 1990 graduate, member-at-large; Frederick “Rick” T. Naschold, Richmond, Va., a 1975 graduate, member-at-large; Andrew “Drew” Setterberg, Arlington, Va., a 2006 graduate, member-at-large; Ashley Z. Crenshaw, Richmond, Va., a 2007 graduate, secretary; and Michael Weiss, New York, N.Y., a 2009 graduate, treasurer.

Elected to a second, three-year term on the board: Carlton Greer, New York, N.Y., a 1995 graduate.

Elected to a first, three-year term on the board: Edward “Ed” Gates Jr., of Glen Allen, Va., a 2002 graduate; Robert “Griff” G. Jones, Virginia Beach, Va., a 1987 graduate; Clayton J. McGratty, New York, N.Y., a 2005 graduate; Raegan W. Morris, Henrico, Va., a 1999 graduate; Theodore “Ted” W. Royer, Brooklyn, N.Y., a 1989 graduate; and M. Joyce “Joy” Winstead, Richmond, Va., a 1955 graduate.
