Hiter Harris, co-founder of Harris Williams & Co., to be C-Suite Conversation guest Oct. 28

Hiter Harris, co-founder of Harris Williams & Co., will participate in a C-Suite Conversation 8 a.m., Oct. 28 at the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business.

C-Suite Conversations are unscripted interviews with regional business decision makers and leaders. The series highlights challenges and opportunities of high-level executives and provides insight about how they balance leadership obligations with the needs of stakeholders.

Richard Coughlan, senior associate dean of the Robins School and director of The Richmond MBA, will interview Harris.

Harris Williams & Co., founded in 1991, is a preeminent middle market investment bank focused on the advisory needs of clients worldwide. Harris has led the organization to become one of the largest and most influential middle market M&A firms with eight offices across the US, London and Frankfurt. He has more than 25 years of transactional experience focused in middle market mergers and acquisitions assignments and has directed more than 200 mergers and acquisitions.

Harris earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in mathematics and economics from Hampden-Sydney College. He is involved with various boards, including the Hampden-Sydney College Board of Trustees, the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges Board of Trustees, the St. Catherine’s School Foundation, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Foundation and the Virginia Historical Society.
