The University of Richmond is hosting a community bike ride on Sunday, Sept. 20. The Presidential 5K Bike Ride will kickoff a weeklong Spirit Week celebration leading up to the UCI World’s Men’s Elite Road Race, which starts on the Richmond campus the following Sunday, Sept. 27.

President Ronald Crutcher, an avid cyclist, will lead the bike ride through campus and he invites the community to join him.

“We are delighted to welcome the UCI Road Race to our campus, and Spirit Week allows us to showcase that excitement,” said Crutcher. “This 5K is the perfect way not only to begin Spirit Week, but also to introduce more community members and their families to the University of Richmond campus.”
