Retired Procter & Gamble executive Melanie Healey to be Robins School of Business C-Suite Conversation guest Feb. 2

Retired Procter & Gamble executive and UR alum Melanie Healey will participate in a C-Suite Conversation Feb. 2, 8 a.m., at the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business. The event will be held in Queally Hall, Ukrop Auditorium. It is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

Melanie Healey currently serves on the board of directors for Verizon, Target and UrbanSitter.com. She retired from P&G in July 2015 after 25 years of service. In her most recent assignment, she served as group president of P&G North America and advisor to the CEO.

She is well known for her authentic, results-focused and inspirational leadership style. During her tenure P&G restored growth in its core U.S. market and was recognized by a the market research company Information Resources for having launched seven of the top 10 most successful new products in the US consumer goods industry.

C-Suite Conversations are unscripted interviews with regional business decision makers and leaders. The series highlights challenges and opportunities of high-level executives and provides insight about how they balance leadership obligations with the needs of stakeholders. Richard Coughlan, senior associate dean, will interview Healey.
