UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND — The School of Professional & Continuing Studies has received a grant of $25,000 from the Bernard Osher Foundation to support its Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute was established in 2004 through an endowment from the Bernard Osher Foundation and provides liberal arts courses and programming for students age 50 and better.

This is the fourth consecutive capacity building grant UR’s Osher Institute has received and will support the continued growth of programming and events offered by the Institute, as well as supporting fundraising and recruitment initiatives.

"We are excited to continue quality programming, special events, interest groups, catalogs, emails, instructor support, new member initiatives, social activities, and partnerships with University of Richmond and the community," said Peggy Watson, director of UR’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
