University of Richmond President Kevin Hallock Welcomes New and Returning Students to Campus

August 16, 2021

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND ─ Students have begun arriving to the University of Richmond campus for the 2021-22 academic year. This year they are joined by the University’s 11th president, Kevin Hallock, who along with his wife Tina, have moved to Richmond.

“We’re delighted to greet all of our students. It is particularly exciting to meet our first-year students, who are joining the university at the same time we are,” Hallock said. “Together we can learn more about the campus and the community.”

The Hallocks will be greeting students and their families as they move in to their residence halls.

UR offers numerous housing options within its residence halls, including traditional floor plans and suite-style rooms. It also offers several living-learning communities in which students with common interests live together and share learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom.

Classes begin Monday, Aug. 23.
