Chapel Guild Christmas house tour Dec. 10
November 20, 2009
The University of Richmond’s Chapel Guild will conduct its biennial Christmas House Tour Dec. 10 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Five homes along Cherokee and St. Christopher’s roads and Randolph Square and Westham parkways will be open.
The homes feature oak paneling salvaged from the old “patent office” in Washington, antiques and paintings, including watercolors by Theresa Pollak, and views of the James River.
Tickets are $30 and include lunch at the university’s Jepson Alumni Center. To purchase tickets, call 804-784-5551.
The Chapel Guild supports Cannon Memorial Chapel and the Office of the Chaplaincy, including sponsorship of a choral production of “Messiah” every four years. In addition, the guild supplies Bibles and hymnals and decorates the chapel for major holidays. The house tour has been held every two years since 1983.
