In America, $5 buys a large cup of coffee, but in Somalia, it can feed a family for two weeks. That realization encouraged University of Richmond junior Shiksha Mahtani to found an aid organization, Fight the Famine.

Law professor Noah Sachs receives Fulbright-Nehru grant to study market-based environmental law in India

Noah Sachs, professor of law and director of the Robert R. Merhige Jr. Center for Environmental Studies at the University of Richmond School of Law, has received one of five Fulbright-Nehru Environmental Leadership grants to conduct research in India in 2013–14.
