Debate coaches to lead brown bag discussion on political debate Sep. 26

Rhetoric professor and debate coach Kevin Kuswa and debate coach Kelly Congdon will host a lunchtime discussion, Debate Debating Politics, on Friday, September 26 as part of the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement's Brown Bag Discussion Series.

Kuswa and Congdon ask how competing oratories define, enable and constrain politics and will discuss the presidential debate scheduled for later that day as well as the debate process itself.

The Center for Civic Engagement is committed to presenting topics that engage the mind, the issues and the community. Brown Bag Discussion Series events are always held on Fridays from 12:30 to 1:25 p.m. in the Think Tank in Tyler Haynes Commons. Pizza is provided and attendees are asked to bring their own drink.
