Two rhetoric & communication studies students defend honors theses Apr. 30

Christina Moore, '09, and Jessi Thaller, '09, will defend their honors theses in rhetoric & communication studies on April 30 in Weinstein Hall's Brown Alley Room.

Moore will present "Communicative Violence in Romantic Relationships at 10 a.m. and Thaller will present "Lines of Nation, Lines of Flight: Retroping U.S. Immigration Policy," at 11 a.m. There will be a short break between defenses and light refreshments will be served.

Students in the rhetoric & communication studies honors program spend up to a year and a half researching their topic, taking thesis-related courses and developing an original project with a faculty advisor.
