Andrei Markovits to present lecture on acclaimed book Uncouth Nation

Andrei S. Markovits, the Karl W. Deutsch Professor of Comparative Politics and German Studies at the University of Michigan, will present a lecture on his much-acclaimed book Uncouth Nation: Why Europe Dislikes America. In his lecture, Markovits will address the linkage between anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism.
This lecture is sponsored jointly by the Department of Modern Literatures and Cultures, the Department of Political Science, the Office of International Education and the Jepson School of Leadership Studies. The event is made possible through the Richmond Quest.
A reception will follow the event. Copies of Uncouth Nation which will be available for purchase at the lecture.
