Now accepting scholarship applications for 2009-10
Several scholarships are available to School of Continuing Studies students who are actively pursuing a planned program of study and have completed 12 semester hours with SCS. The deadline for application is July 1, 2009. Applications for scholarships may be obtained from the School of Continuing Studies or downloaded from our Website. Full descriptions of these scholarships may be found in the current Evening School Catalog.
- Established in 1996 by alumni, students and friends, the Jean H. Proffitt Scholarship is available to candidates who have been accepted to a degree program. This scholarship is administered by the School of Continuing Studies Alumni Association. Apply using the Proffitt Scholarship application
. - The School of Continuing Studies Evening School has several additional scholarships available to candidates who have been accepted to a degree program. These scholarships are need-based. Individuals who can receive tuition reimbursement through their employer are not eligible for scholarship assistance. Apply using the SCS Scholarship application

Osher Reentry Scholarship
The School of Continuing Studies has been granted the Osher Reentry Scholarship Fund. This scholarship has been established to assist adults in resuming college studies to complete a degree. Applicants must have experienced an interruption in their education of five or more years. This scholarship is intended to benefit students who have considerable years of employability ahead of them-ideally aged 25 to 50. Additional application requirements are listed online.
