Licensure program grads named outstanding educators

Several recent graduates of the School of Continuing Studies Teacher Licensure Program have been honored by Henrico County Public Schools as outstanding educators for 2009.

Division-Wide First-Year Teacher of the Year

Andrew "Drew" Baker, C'08, was named the Henrico County First Year Teacher of the Year.

School-Level Teachers of the Year

Tom Adair, C'07, was named the Teacher of the Year for Twin Hickory Elementary School.

Lorrie Binns, C'03, was named the Teacher of the Year for Carver Elementary School.

Anne Coward, C'08, was named the Teacher of the Year for Dumbarton Elementary School.

Ryan Hirtz, C'08, was named the Teacher of the Year for Fair Oaks Elementary School.

Allegra Mather, C'07, was named the Teacher of the Year for Tuckahoe Middle School.

Denise Robson, C'03, was named the Teacher of the Year for Tuckahoe Elementary School.
