WGSS student journal issues call for papers
Student leaders in the Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies Program are asking faculty to encourage their students to submit work to a new scholarly publication at the University of Richmond, Inquiries. The journal's executive editor is Jason Tseng, '08.
Inquiries is a student journal focusing on women, gender and sexuality studies, with the understanding that WGSS intersects with a vast array of academic disciplines. Students are encouraged to submit papers, prose, poetry and visual art that they feel relates to the study of women, gender and sexuality. Submissions chosen by Inquiries' editorial board will also have the opportunity to present their work at a student conference on February 22, sponsored by Richmond's Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies Program, which will feature students from institutions across the state of Virginia.
Submissions are due by January 25, 2008. (Please note: While no preference is given to work submitted earlier, the editorial staff is most appreciative of early submissions.)
Please send all contributions to inquiriesjournal@gmail.com.
