As one of the most diverse programs at the University of Richmond, WILL attracts a wide range of students from a variety of backgrounds and interests. If you are curious about WILL, listen to what these students from different class years and an alumna from the program have to say.

First of its kind WILL is the first program of its kind in the nation and is being replicated at other universities.

Supportive community WILL provides a supportive community of diverse women consisting of fellow students from all four class years and alumnae from the program.

Three components There are three components of WILL: the Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies minor; a student leadership organization; and gender and diversity-related events.

Theory to practice By applying theory to practice, WILL students use classroom learning to address societal problems.

Real-world experiences WILL  provides a holistic four-year program that builds breadth and depth of skills through academic and real-world experiences.

Complements all majors The WILL minor in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies complements all  majors and enhances study abroad experiences.
