The Richmond MBA Alumni Society Presents the 2011 Economic Outlook Breakfast

When: February 2, 2011

Where: Jepson Alumni Center

The Richmond MBA Alumni Society invites you to the 2011 Economic Outlook Breakfast. Join us as Dr. Alan Beckenstein, Professor of Business Administration at the Darden Graduate Business School and head of the Darden School's Economics group, shares his outlook on the U.S. and global economics for 2011 and beyond.

The talk will engage you in a discussion of the three major bubbles in the past 13 years (Asian Crisis, Tech Bubble and Housing Bubble) and will discuss tradeoffs between short-term rescue policies and long-term growth needs. Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and lively economic discussion with fellow MBA Alumni and friends.

Hold onto your hats because that’s not all. The official date for our next Charity Golf Tournament has been announced too! Mark your calendars now because this is definitely an event you won’t want to miss. This year we’ll be playing at the Brandermill Country Club on Thursday May 19th. We’ll be playing with an afternoon tee time this year too, so you won’t have to wake up before the sun to join us.

We’re also excited to bring you a new event that’s a collaboration between The Richmond MBA Alumni Society and the MBA Leadership Council. Both organizations are working now to co-host an event at an upcoming basketball game. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.
