Jasmine Jackson is a career advisor at the University of Richmond. She works with first and second year students who are undecided in their career endeavors explore new and interesting career paths.

She offers the following:

"Your first year at college might be your best year because you are seeing and experiencing a whole new world for the first time. With a fresh perspective, you might be willing to explore and try new things. Every connection and experience you encounter has life-changing potential, something like the butterfly effect. I encourage students to explore their curiosities and take note of what they truly enjoy. Visit with a career advisor to find out what career opportunities might capitalize on those interests. It's never too early to meet with an advisor."
