During UR Here Giving Day on April 4-5, 2023, 227 donors to the School of Professional & Continuing Studies catapulted the School into the top position on the Unit Leaderboard, raising a total of $42,168.
During the University of Richmond Employee Service Awards ceremony on March 3, three current SPCS staff members and an SPCS adjunct faculty member were recognized for 50 cumulative years of service to the University.
The summer 2023 schedule of SPCS academic program classes is now available online. Registration opens for continuing and newly admitted students on Tuesday, March 14 at 9 a.m.
Dr. Andrew Schoeneman, chair of the SPCS nonprofit studies program, was promoted to associate professor of nonprofit studies on the recommendation of Dean Jamelle Wilson and upon approval by the Board of Trustees.

Blake Stack, GC’21, was named Senior Associate Director of Student Engagement and Director of the Bonner Scholars Program in the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) last year. Stack is a 2021 graduate of the SPCS Nonprofit Studies program.
At the spring semester SPCS faculty meeting on January 5, 2023, Associate Dean Tom Shields announced the hiring of three new adjunct faculty members for spring 2023.
Katelyn Wilkerson, GC’22, and Charlotte Martin, GC’22, both graduates of the SPCS Educational Leadership & Policy Studies program, published their capstone projects in the 2022 VASCD Journal.
