Taking place in an open venue in the library, The Visible Scholar Series provides a space for informal faculty talks on new publications. Students, staff and faculty can listen and view a “scholar in action.” On Wednesday, October 11, 2017, 12 noon – 12:45 p.m., Dr. Julian Hayter will discuss his new book, The Dream is Lost: Voting Rights and the Politics of Race in Richmond, Virginia The program will take place on the first floor of Boatwright Library in the collaborative study area.
