Sandra Peart discusses leadership and running

Sandra J. Peart, dean of the Jepson School of Leadership Studies, discusses parallels between running and leadership in article about Memphis chapter of Girls on the Run. Peart, who is also a runner, says that running can teach some of the attributes required for leaders, such as perseverance through adversity. 

"The thing about running is that runners aren't born, and neither are leaders...They're made," says Peart.
