In July, 11 graduate students in a study abroad course in the School of Professional & Continuing Studies converged on Ludwigsburg University in Germany to gain a global perspective on issues in educational leadership.

Caroline Kilby, GC’18, kept a travelogue of the class experience and shared it with University of Richmond Magazine. Read Kilby’s travelogue online.

The study abroad experience in Germany started on July 25 and concluded on July 30, 2018. Students arrived in Stuttgart and traveled to Esslingen, Favoritepark and Heidelberg before returning home. SPCS students spent time learning with 16 students from INEMA, the International Education Management Master’s Program, a partnership of Ludwigsburg University of Education in Favoritepark and Helwan University, south of Cairo, Egypt.
