Deep Breaths: A Chinese-English Bilingual Poetry Reading

Mi Jialu, Associate Professor, College of New Jersey, will read from his new book, Deep Breaths: A Chinese-English Bilingual Poetry Reading, on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 3-4 p.m. in the 1st Floor Collaborative Study Area of Boatwright LIbrary. “Deep Breaths,” is a collection of poems written during the past 37 years, was published in Taiwan and is divided into three parts in reverse chronological order. Dr. Mi (original name Jiayan Mi) is the author of several books about Chinese poetry, literature, and film.
